NOS Nitrous Bottle Danger! (10 oz to 2.5 lb.) Safety Recall Notice!

NOS Small Nitrous Bottle (10 oz to 2.5 lb.) Safety Recall Notice

Besides in almost every state Nitrous being illegal to use on public roads ( either by actually using it or having it connected available to use) , now its potentially dangerous too. One younger teen had a nitrous bottle in his trunk wich exlpoded ripping throught the garage, detremantal damage to the trunk/ rear of the car and garage door. Note: the pictures are of an actual nitrous bottle explosion however was a full 10 pound bottle with bottle heater on in a Nissan Maxima.

Rear of car peeled open from 1600 psi of 400 degree nitrous rushing out searing through metal.

This is the outside garage door where a bust bottle shot through.

Nitrous Oxide Systems (NOS) has been informed by Cramer Decker Industries that a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety exists in certain burst discs that were inadvertently installed in bottle valves for Nitrous oxide systems used on motorcycles, ATV’s, personal watercraft, Sneaky Pete systems, and certain other automotive kits that use small bottles (10 oz. to 2.5 lb.). All of the below listed kits and related accessories are sold and distributed under the NOS brad name. This decision was made based on information provided to us by Cramer Decker Industries. The incorrect burst discs were installed in bottle valves commonly used on small Nitrous bottles (10 oz. to 2.5 lb.). The combination of overfilling a bottle and exposing the bottle to high temperatures ( like a bottle heater sold by Holley or summer heat) may cause the bottle pressure to exceed the safe working limits of the bottle resulting in bottle failure (bursting). Because the defective bottle can burst, the defect can cause injury without prior warning. Attached is a full listing of all affected part numbers manufactured by NOS. All bottle valves, whether sold in kit form, assembled to bottles or purchased individually, along with replacement burst discs purchased separately that were purchased from NOS from February 1, 2006 thru November 1, 2006 are subject to this recall.

Don't let your car or bike end up like this, Use Nitrous Safely and off public roads. Nitrous in contact with flamable materials ( yes anything that can burn) is dangerous in the presence of heat and its illegal to use on public streets or even have hooked up can get you a large ticket and points on the license.

Please contact the Customer Service Department @ 1-800-638-0032 for a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number and return instructions.

Around 80 Nitrous systems are affected and there are no options for refund on replacement of burst valve. Read here for Part numbers list -http://www.holley.com/HolleyNews/NOS%20Small%20Bottle%20(10%20oz%20to%202.5%20lb.)%20Safety%20Recall%20Notice.asp

Ford Agian puts Recall on 225,000 Trucks and Vans Cruise over the Cruise Control Safety Switch

Sunday, February 03, 2008 Fixed trucks and vans recalled agian!

Ford Re-Recalling Hundreds of Thousands of Vehicles
Ford Motor Co. said yesterday that they are recalling about 225,000 vehicles, including 185,000 E-Series vans, that were already repaired as part of an earlier recall to address concerns about a cruise control deactivation switch. The auto-maker recalled millions of Ford F-150 trucks and cars to fix cruise control switch problems by installing new wiring harnesses in the recalled vehicles. Now some of those replacement wiring harnesses appear to have been defective Agian! Ford says the affected vehicles represent a small portion of the 10-million vehicles that were been recalled since 1999 relating to the cruise control switch problem. This story was first reported in the Detroit News yesterday, but Ford stated that they would officially notify the NHTSA of the recall on Monday.

US Milk Banned in Most Countries and Japan Bans USDA Beef

U.S. foods banned around the worldYou never hear much about the U.S. food products banned by other countries, do you? Did you know that the U.S. is the only country in the world that pumps up its dairy cows full of synthetic hormone chemicals? That's why U.S. milk is banned in most countries. Bovine Growth Hormone-treated cow milk simply isn't tolerated anywhere else. Even crazier, Monsanto, a U.S. corporation, has sued companies for labeling their milk as "hormone-free," claiming that this explanation "confuses consumers" by giving them information. Lots of countries have also, from time to time, banned the importation of U.S. beef. Ever wonder why? It's because the Bush Administration has made it illegal for beef ranchers to test their own cows for mad cow disease. The USDA actually sued one rancher that tried to conduct safety testing in order to comfort his overseas buyers of U.S. beef. U.S. authorities said, nope, we can't have any more safety testing in this country unless the feds conduct it. Countries like Japan have banned U.S. beef imports, citing enormous safety problems and a complete lack of scientific testing for mad cow disease. European countries test ALL their cows for mad cow disease. But USDA officials in this country believe we should only test something like one cow out of a million, and any time that test comes back positive, do you know what they do? They run a second test, then a third test, then a fourth test until they get the result they want: Negative. Then dispose of the Cows that came out positive. I'm not making this up. This is the official USDA policy on mad cow disease. It's call the "close your eyes and pretend it doesn't exist" policy, which is, coincidentally, the exact same policy followed by the Bush Administration global warming team. So the next time you hear the FDA warning you about how dangerous and deadly all those Chinese products are, remember what they're NOT telling you, American-made food isnt always safe.

As Far as mad cow goes though, Center for Desease control reports that there have been three reports of the Creutzfeldt Jakob Disease ( mad cow desease) in Humans. Mad Cow desease is thought to have been generated by the Scrapie ( degenerative desease in sheep). In britian 1980's infected Sheep parts were fed to Cows and that is where the scare began. As of November 2006, 200 CJD patients were reported worldwide, including 164 patients identified in the United Kingdom, 21 in France, 4 in the Republic of Ireland, 3 in the United States (including the present case-patient), 2 in the Netherlands and 1 each in Canada, Italy, Japan, Portugal, Saudi Arabia and Spain," the CDC said. "Of the 200 reported vCJD patients, all except 10 of them (including the present case-patient) had resided either in the United Kingdom (170 cases) for over six months during the 1980-1996 period of the large UK BSE outbreak or alternatively in France (20 cases)." So mad cow desease is thought to be a incurable desease because the incubation period is more than 6 months, by the time you could be treated it may be too late.

China Food Imports Cause Violent Behavior, Difference between American and Chinese Food

The difference between Chinese and American product manufacturers

I'm not saying that Chinese food and personal care products don't contain toxic chemicals, by the way. A Chinese businessman will cheat you just as quickly as a U.S. businessman, and if there's a dollar to be saved by replacing a real ingredient with some toxic substitute chemical, you can count on receiving the toxic chemical. The only difference between Chinese products and American products is that the Chinese products will kill you faster. The American products contain poisons that kill you more slowly -- just enough to give you disease symptoms requiring pharmaceutical treatments without actually killing you. These are poisons like hydrogenated oils (heart disease and cancer), high-fructose corn syrup (diabetes and osteoporosis), genetically modified corn (kidney failure), processed sodium (high blood pressure), MSG and yeast extract (obesity, migraines and worse), aspartame (neurological harm), artificial food colors (behavioral disorders), and hundreds of untested chemicals used in cosmetics, body care, laundry and home cleaning products. None of these will kill you outright like a poisoned product from China might, but they'll kill you over time, combining their toxic chemicals in your heart, liver, kidneys and brain, generating mysterious symptoms that your doctor diagnoses as "idiopathic whatever" which means he really has no idea what's going on. (You can learn more about all the toxic effects of food ingredients, by the way, in my book Grocery Warning: http://www.truthpublishing.com/GroceryWarning.html ) So where is the FDA to warn us about all these cancer-causing chemicals in the products made in the USA? The agency is mysteriously silent. It seems completely unable to speak... unless of course it's to tout the latest "miracle" prescription drug that masks all the symptoms caused by the toxic chemicals put into the food in the first place. Did you know that guacamole dips often contain no guacamole? They're made with hydrogenated soybean oil, artificial avocado flavoring, monosodium glutamate and green food coloring made from petrochemicals. Yumm! It's the kind of diet that makes a kid lose his mind, pick up an old refurbished AK-47 brought home by a U.S. soldier from Iraq, lock and load a double-pack of 30-round ammo magazines, and go to town unloading bullets on his classmates. This is no exaggeration: Chemicals in food cause violent behavior in young men. And guess what we're feeding the little rascals in our public school lunch programs? You got it: All the toxic chemicals that many countries have outlawed.

Segway Recalls personal transporter after throwing President Goerge W. Bush, George W. Bush gets a Buckin .. Segway?

George W Bush gets a Buckin .. Segway?

George W. Bush takes a fall for technology. Presidential Personal transportation has a few bugs. Seen here the Segway reversed direction almost dumping him on his face. Segways have now recalled 23,500 Segway Personal Transporters stating :" The personal transporter can unexpectedly apply reverse torque to the wheels, which can cause a rider to fall. This can occur when the device is tilted back by the Speed Limiter and the rider comes off and then back onto the device within a short period of time." I just wanna see Hillary Clinton , Barak Obama and John Mcain , Mitt Romney and Ron Paul all race faulty Segways, whoever crosses the finish line wins! Woot!

This recall involves all Segway PT i167, i170 and i180 ("i Series") models, the p133 ("p Series"), XT ("cross-terrain transporter"), GT ("golf transporter") and i2 models. These units were sold to consumers and commercial customers. All e167 ("e Series") models, which were sold to commercial users, also are included in this recall.

( That means that the one you bought yourself for personal use in not affectected)

Spinmaster Aqua Dot Contain GHB "Date Rape" drug , Recall all of them as none are safe

The truth behind Aqua Dots.

Aqua-dots has been around for a couple years now and in many different countries. These is no doubt that this toy would rise to the top of the list. Here this picture shows the aquadot station with neet storage for the dots at the top of the bin. The child can change colors by rotating the cylinder at the top. A battery powered fan blows the beads on at a time in the grate that holds the beads in place.

Here is an unopened packet of Aqua Dots and the aquadot spray ( water).

Seen here is how the beads are placed in the form before water is sprayed.
Spray water and the beads dry making a neeto plastic keychain or somthing. The problem is the glue on the beads turns to GHB when it is digested. What!! these things are FOOD ?! No they aren't , but somone has been feeding them to their kids! GHB is a body performance supplement and in larger doses it will affect the breathing of a patient. In many countries its used as a field anestetic.
Anyways the point is eating a couple of these beads could leave a child in the hospital in a drug induced coma for 1-2 days. Even though they are fun I wouldnt eat them anytime soon. As far as being a date rape drug, though many things are used for that that was not the common use, its was used with steroids for body building!

Study by MIT student-

For all you junior scientists at home, we have provided a few easy-to-follow steps. That way you too can perform the experiment to find the effects of Aqua Dots on adults and learn the type of lesson that only a panicked call to 911 can teach you. For this experiment, you will need a supply of Aqua Dots, which you can likely now find at your local rave club, and a willing adult, likely a senior citizen at the end of their rope.
The Steps:

1. Have test subject ingest a single Aqua Dot.

2. Wait 10 seconds and record observations.

3. Repeat.
In our experiment, the subject (an intern whose name we forgot, but codenamed Aqua Death) seemed to be doing well after the first dot, but two minutes and twelve Aqua Dots later the intern had stopped moving. Our conclusion? Aqua Dots are indeed potent in adults.

When swallowed, these beads can cause adverse effects, even death. Children have already been hospitalized and suffered coma. Spin Master recalled the products voluntarily on November 7, 2007. These beads have a coating that is made to cause the beads to stick to each other when combined with water. This coating contains a chemical that can be toxic if ingested. This chemical somehow converts to GHB, most widely known as the date rape drug, when ingested into the human body. Due to these beads, 5 children have been hospitalized. 2 are known to have experienced coma. The 20 month old child swallowed dozens of these beads. He experienced dizziness, began vomiting, and then slipped into a coma. After hospitalization, he fully recovered and has since been released. The second child also experienced the same symptoms (dizziness, vomiting, then coma). He was hospitalized for 5 days. These Aqua Dots and Bindeez come in various kits which allow the children to create certain shapes and figures. Some kits come with other accessories, such as a drying fan or pen. These pea-sized beads fuse together when sprayed with water. The kits were sold at retailers nationwide from April 2007 to November 2007, with the price range of $17 to $30. All Aqua Dots and Bindeez kits have been recalled. None of them are safe.

If you have any of these kits, immediately remove them from possession of children and contact Spin Master for further details at (800) 622-8339 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, or visit their recall website at http://www.aquadotsrecall.com/.
